Outlook
Gap up opening and dovish monetary policy dragged the market and helped to breach the 10300 level. The session wrapped up with a change of +1.94% at the levels of 10325.15. Nifty charts are showing a big bull candle indicating a sideways to positive move with an immediate resistance of 10369-10391 and support of 10280-10250.
Indian shares rose on Thursday, tracking global equity markets that recovered after fears of a Sino-U.S. trade war eased, with metal stocks, such as, Hindalco Industries Ltd. and banks, such as, ICICI Bank Ltd. among top gainers.
The Nifty Metal index climbed as much as 4%. Hindalco led gains on the NSE index, rising as much as 6.20%, and was set to snap four sessions of losses. Vedanta Ltd. gained over 5%, while Tata Steel Ltd. was up as much as 3.80%.
