Outlook
Nifty traded in a sideways zone and closed with just a change of +0.06% at the levels of 10348. Nifty managed to touch a high of 10374 but Nifty failed to hold the upside and closed with a slight change from the previous day closing. Nifty's continuous rejection to the downside trend is giving a positive outlook for the next session market opening. Nifty upside resistance will be 10395-10420 and support will be 10288-10268.
Indian shares ended with little change on Thursday, as gains in IT companies, such as, Infosys Ltd. helped to offset the declines in financial firms, while the bonds fell after oil prices hit a two-year high. The benchmark BSE Sensex closed up 0.08% at 33,588.08, while the broader NSE Nifty ended 0.06% higher at 10,348.75. SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd. drops as much as 3.30% to INR. 670.00, while HDFC Standard Life Insurance Co. Ltd. fell as much as 5.30% to INR. 374.00.
The benchmark 10-year bond fell, with the yield up by 3 basis points to 6.99% from its close on Wednesday after earlier rising as much as 6 bps.
